Can't adjust the volume on the T-com VB headset when receiving navigation from my Garmin Zumo 396. It's way too quiet. Master volume already on highest on satnav. Any clues?

Love my freedconn tcom... have only used it as a Bluetooth, as I found the FM so loud it's deafening on minimum volume. Never used it as an intercom. Does anyone know what frequency it operates to transmit/receive? Are all on the same frequency, or is there a way to adjust the frequency to make it inter operate with other bramds/products?

Not sure. I presume you can hear voice from the satnav when not on a chat with your pillion?
It's possible the behaviour has been tweaked in more recent iterations.

The way it works is the SatNav will periodically interject with directions and announcements. So, if you have an open chat with your pillion, your headset will periodically switch to the satnav for directions, momentarily putting your pillion on hold, then switch back to your pillion chat immediately afterwards. It works OK, but if you have a SatNav route where it needs to give you lots of directions in quick succession (e.g. navigating through a bunch of junctions or a city), it can get a bit annoying as your chat is constantly interrupted. Really depends on how chatty your satnav is!
